Horror

 

“He's waiting in purgatory for the day of his rebirth.”

Horror is a huge genre.  People keep making horror films.  Over and over.  Just keep making them.  For God's sake, would you people stop! 

Oh, sorry about that.  But it is impossible to keep up with the huge number of films in this genre.  There are, of course, many horrible ones, but horror gives filmmakers a chance to say something interesting about the human condition by looking at our fears.  Also, It can just be fun.
